Sanya Shah is a blossoming studio artist from New Jersey, USA. She completed art classes throughout high school, attended a Summer Immersion studio art class called “Drawing Intensive: Developing A Studio Arts Portfolio” at Columbia University, and continues to study and practice art at Rutgers University. These experiences have helped her hone her skills and create her portfolio. When it comes to her work, she primarily creates portraits, genre-scenes, and still-life paintings as well as graphite, charcoal, and pen pieces. Her work draws inspiration from many artists such as Marc Dailly, Alain Pontecorvo, and Claude Monet, and she also pulls ideas from scenes in her own life as well. This website documents Sanya's work from the past 5 years.
